I spend a lot of time in my mind. The world might define me as a dreamer. The design world calls it ideation. So many creative ideas rumbling around in my head that keep getting filed into my mental 'someday' folder.

Someday I will:

finish writing that book

launch that creative business

decorate that room

take that pottery class

buy that vacation home

take that trip...

Cuz we're all dreamers, really. Innate creativity dancing around in our minds, looking for opportunity to flow into being. Maybe it's intuitive and artistic, maybe it's methodical and scientific, but it's creative all the same. Created in the image of the ultimate creator.

I know I'm not alone. There is a season for all things. Turn turn turn.

As my kids grow into adulthood, my ideas begin to breathe and expand.

Someday is now.

Lean into your creativity. For me, that looks like launching my photography hobby into a career, knitting again with my mom and grandma, signing up for pottery classes with my son, and turning my home into a sanctuary. One someday idea at a time. A mini forest of houseplants in handmade macramé hangers, layered jute rugs on worn wooden floors, cozy foam cushions wrapped in soft linens hugging my hips as I drift to sleep and dream the next dream.

A trip to the sea.

I want to experience the world.

I want a home that feels like a retreat from the world.

Homebody wanderlust.
